Another long break...

Last day of my long break this week. Took off for Friday and Saturday. Saw quite a bit of things done over this long weekend. Had a nice rest on Thursday night and thereafter, it was a trip down to ICA to update the photo in my passport. Later, had a short shopping trip with my mum at Parco Bugis Junction and even bought a shirt to suit the theme of "Pesta Kampong", the LBSA dinner. It has been a long time since I had such a relaxed outing with my mum; a funny feeling because this was what I wanted to do, one year ago. After my As, taking a well-deserved rest. Alas, I didn't get it last year, so I shall make up for it this year.

Appreciation...getting it



Thereafter, it was down to the LBSA Appreciation and Award Presentation at Mandarin. Meritus Mandarin. I ended up at Marina Mandarin, managed by Meritus at 5pm sharp. Wrong Hotel. What? Wrong hotel? Arghhh! Oh well, took a taxi down but it was effort wasted. The preparation did not finish on time and the rehearsal for prize winners was cancelled and I ended up sitting alone, with no company for more than an hour. But when the whole event started, it felt really nice. The atmosphere was good, the people were friendly and the food was good. Only thing was Edmund could not go...
